The recently opened Maricopa Native Seed Library has tapped into an important unmet need in the community. Our county does not have good local native seed sources and plants available, which has resulted in a lack of quality habitat in home landscapes. This habitat is needed now more than ever with increasing threats to our wildlands. This presentation will discuss the context and purpose of the seed library, how it has been implemented, and how you can implement one at your library.
