Fishing mechanic (Work in progress)
We currently have the following sorts of fish in-game: Pike, Trout, Bass, Catfish, Crappie, Panfish and Perch. What other Kentuckian fish would you want to see in game that would happily swim in the waters of Knox Country?
What sorts of fish bait do you use? What specific fish-types go for which sort of bait? What sort of existing PZ items would you use, and what items would you like to see introduced?
What sorts of conditions impact on fishing? We currently intend to use the time of a day, the season, whether you are fishing in a lake or a river, the player's fishing skill, the line type, the sort of hook you use, the bait, the weather and the sort of fishing rod. What have we missed when it comes to PZ gameplay? Are there some things we should be more concerned about than others?
What sorts of rod types do you use that you believe would make for good PZ fishing gameplay?
What sorts of fish could you catch in a fishing net without a rod?
As a PZ fan, what would you want to see in a PZ fishing system? What are your expectations?
