Thetford Energy Committee Electric Lawn and Yard Care Survey
Gas-powered lawn and yard care equipment is a significant contributor to Green House Gas (GHG) emissions and other pollutants. This year, the Joint Thetford Energy Committee (JTEC) is adding a focus on E-Lawnification (electrifying lawn and yard care equipment) and De-Lawnification (shrinking lawns) to lower the climate impact of lawns.

Electric lawn and yard care equipment is still relatively new. Many people do not know what machines are available and how to choose what is best for their needs.

To help inform our neighbors, the JTEC is planning an Electric Lawn Care Show 'n Tell event. We are looking for residents to bring their electric lawn and yard care equipment to the Thetford Town Green to show our neighbors and answer their questions.

Many people like to obtain information on important purchases from people they trust.  Would you like to participate in our Electric Lawn and Yard Care Show 'n Tell event. The details are not finalized, but this will likely take place on the Thetford Town Green on Saturday, May 21 from 10:00am-1:00pm. You would bring the equipment of your choice to "Show 'n Tell" and answer questions people may have. We are only looking for your level of interest, not a firm commitment at this time. More details will follow.
