The IYS After School Program is intended for Middle and High School Students living in Klamath Falls. This program runs on Wednesdays from 4PM-7PM. After School snacks, equipment, and training will be provided. Transportation from school is available upon request. There will be four 7 week sessions. Session 2 begins January 25th.
Conservation Club: This program is an introductory program that shadows the IYS Work2Learn crews. Students will learn about equipment safety, fire mitigation, forestry services, and the great outdoors. This program has the opportunity to lead into a part time or full time job after session completion. (15 slots available)
Culinary Club: Students will learn how to work in a kitchen and special culinary techniques needed to work in a restaurant setting. Working alongside special guests and industry professionals, students will grow to become novice chefs. (6 slots available)
