VALEES Mini-Grant Application (FY20)
Please carefully read the mini-grant application instructions including Program of Study template requirement, quality components of a Career and Technical Education (CTE) system, final reporting requirements, and unallowable projects.

NEW & IMPORTANT: To be considered for a mini-grant award, you must complete a Program of Study (POS) template and submit with your electronic application. POS templates should be completed in consultation with counselors. It is recommended to complete the POS template (linked below) before beginning this application. There is not a "save" feature for the application.

Perkins V defines a Program of Study (POS) as a coordinated, nonduplicative sequence of academic and technical content at the secondary and postsecondary level. Important components of a POS include: challenging academic standards, technical and employability skills, alignment to the needs of business and industry, progresses in specificity, and includes industry-recognized credentials and/or early college credit.
