EACH PLAYER IS ALLOWED TWO (2) SUBMISSIONS PER CALENDAR MONTH.  

Our goal at Charm City is manifold, but one of the chief concerns is a fair playing environment and character balance where one can have fun, but never at the expense of other players, sim lore, environment, or the investment of the sim owners' time, effort and resources, moderators' and facilitators' time and effort, and just general respect and civility.  

Tech gives advantages, there are no ifs, ands, or buts about it.  Sometimes unfair advantages are necessary to the story, such as sim events when one player may be taking on the rest of the sim, but do not mistake a temporary advantage and think it's unfair because you may have been denied something that would permanently buff your character to an extremely unfair level.  This is ADMIN discretion which factors in many variables other than an individual player's desire to win.

All tech MUST HAVE RP DEVELOPMENT.  This may be done in discord or on sim in Second Life.  This is not an afterthought when one pulls out their NEW SHINY at a scene.  It also isn't a "/me develops a new weapon and smiles over it as he says, 'They are in trouble now' and laughs evilly." in group RP chat.  Where did your resources come from?  What made you decide to develop the tech in the first place? A defeat?  Witnessing something?  Give your weapon a backstory.  Let it fail in the field so that it can be refined (as opposed to upgraded...you know what I mean, more operable/dependable NOT more powerful).  If your submission is integral to your happiness in RP then make it a sort of character all its own, with backstory and character.
 
Weeks went into the preparation of the environment and development of character structures, lore, and rules of the sim you are playing in as well as thousands of dollars of investment so that all could have fun and write exciting stories for their characters as well as to interact with and develop bonds with other players.  Cooperation is key.  Respect, civility, and rationality are required and the only thing really asked for in return.
