DHS Sports Fundraising Golf Tournament - 'Our Goal is to help our Rangatahi Achieve theirs'

Sport plays an important part in the live of our children so it is essential that they have the opportunities to participate in regular physical activities. To do this we need to ensure that we have the funding available to deliver these opportunities and for it to be available to all students.

This will be the third year running a Golf Tournament to raise funds and we wish to thank our Naming Sponsor Jo McIntosh + Team for their continued support.

Funds raised for the DHS Sports will go towards our team and individuals who represent DHS. The majority of the money raised from this tournament goes towards subsidising the cost of travel. We want to keep our students involved in physical activities throughout the year. Sport is an extra curricular activity (user pays) and with the increase in the cost of living, having to paying for school sport is not a priority, therefore students miss out on not only the physical wellbeing, but the fun and enjoyment.

We invite you and your business to support our event. Working with our tamariki and rangatahi, helping to keep them active and achieve their goals, while being able to offer many opportunities to participate in sports, is very satisfying and rewarding.

Anyone or business that supports our tournament will get special mention on our schools facebook page, website, school news articles as well as exposure to the players who play in the tournament on the day.

There are several ways you could contribute sponsorship, donations or enter to play. If you are interested please complete the rest of this registration form by Monday 27th March.
