RULES & GUIDELINES: Vendors must follow the guidelines set by the event organizers. No refunds on booth rental fees, no exceptions. Vendor spaces are not transferrable; sublets, loans, or trades are not allowed. Shared vendor spaces are only allowed with prior approval and payment.
Event hours are 11am- 4pm. There will be 2 set-up time slots, 1 for food vendors, and 1 for craft/artisan vendors. Food Vendors: 8:00-8:45, Craft/Artisan Vendors: 8:45-10:30 am. We recommend the use of a helper or carts to transport supplies to and from. Vehicles will not be allowed in the vending area. Vendors are expected to remain for the entire event time. There will be no early departures, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Each vendor will receive a 10x10 or 4x6 space, depending on what the vendor signed up and paid for. 10x10 CANOPIES MUST BE WHITE. Branded canopies are allowed, with approval, if they are clean and presentable.
Vendors must provide their own tents/EZ-ups/Umbrellas/Tables/Chairs/etc. Tables must be draped on all sides, no bare tables. Cloths can be any color. All items must fit within your assigned space.
Vendors are responsible for set-up, teardown, and cleaning their spaces. Vendors agree to have all equipment, fixtures, and other related items and materials in place and fully constructed and operable no later than 10:45am on the day of the event and removed no later than 5:30 pm on the same day.
Electricity is not available, so plan accordingly.
Neither the venue, nor the organizers are responsible for any loss or damage to products, personal property, persons, or vehicles.
Vendor agrees not to operate any loudspeaker system, radio, or television at the location during the term of the event unless otherwise agreed upon.
Vendor agrees that neither the vendor, or their associates will hand out materials for other events outside of their vendor space.
FIRE HAZARDS: Vendor shall not cause, maintain, or permit anything to be done on the premises which will increase the possibility of fire or other casualty. Open flame and lit candles are not permitted unless appropriate approval from permitting agencies. The use of drones is also prohibited.
LAWFUL CONDUCT: During the entirety of the event, including set-up and teardown, vendors and their assistants/associates will conform in all respects to federal, state, and/or municipal laws and ordinances, or any local authority which may be applicable in the circumstances.
LIABILITY: I fully understand that my participation in the Las Jefas Market event presents exposure to the risk of personal injury, death, or property damage. I hereby acknowledge that participation in this event is voluntary and agree to assume any such risks. I hereby release, discharge, and agree not to sue, or hold responsible, Las Jefas Market, its officers, agents, employees, or volunteers or the Normal Heights Masonic Temple, for any injury, death, or damage to or loss of personal property arising out of, or in connection with, participation in the event/class from whatever cause, including the active or passive negligence of the said entities, its officers, agents, employees or volunteers or any other participants in the event/class.
IN CONSIDERATION for being permitted to participate in the event, I hereby agree, for myself, my heirs, administrators, executors and assigns, that I shall indemnify and hold harmless Las Jefas Market and Normal Heights Masonic Temple from any and all claims, demands, actions or suits arising out of or in connection with my participation in the event/class.
I also agree and acknowledge that participants may be photographed while participating in the event, and release use of the photographs and/or video for reproduction in the airing and promotion of the event.
