UW-ECE Alumni Engagement Form
UW-ECE is very proud of our alumni and the technical leadership they provide in all 50 states and around the world.  It is with that sense of pride that we are continuously looking for ways our ECE alumni may stay connected and even support the current workings of our dynamic department.  This survey is a call to ask about your level of interest in engaging with our students and faculty, and also an opportunity for you to suggest how you wish to stay connected to your alma mater.

We look forward to and appreciate your feedback, thank you.

Alumni often ask about various ways to financially support the department’s mission and priorities.  Here are the two primary strategies:

1) Make a gift of any amount to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Fund through the University of Wisconsin Foundation.   These discretionary funds make a variety of initiatives possible.  Examples include undergraduate welcome-to-ECE lab kits, graduate student and faculty recruiting, and a wide variety of student events that enhance their overall experience.

2) Support a specific larger-scale initiative such as creating a new state-of-the-art instructional lab or capstone design space, supporting faculty through named professorships, enhancing access through undergraduate scholarships, and recruiting top graduate students with prestigious fellowships.  The wide-range of options for major gifts can be discussed with one of our Directors of Development.
We are always interested in learning about new and creative ways that current faculty and students may engage with our alumni.  What other suggestions do you have for future opportunities?
Thank you for your feedback.
