Invitation to Join the Solution Focused Canadian Community (SF Can Community)
The Solution Focused Canadian Community is a grassroots community driven group for Canadian professionals who are interested in Solution Focused Practice. The intention of this group is not self-promotion or to generate business.

Purpose:

  • To create a sense of community among Canadian SFBT practitioners.
  • To inspire and support other like-minded SFBT practitioners.
  • We meet monthly to share resources, network and talk about everything related to SFBT.
  • We hope to discuss topics such as:
    • Current SFBT research, projects, new books
    • Things we are excited about as SFBT practitioners.
    • This is a community driven group. The format and topics are dynamic and will reflect the interests and make up of the group.
    • The first couple of meetings will have a topic planned in advance.

Who: These meetings will be facilitated by Alesya Courtnage.

We will be meeting on the last Wednesday of each month from 7:30 - 9:00 pm EST. 

Between monthly Zoom meetings, all communication will take place exclusively on WhatsApp.

  • You must be a Solution Focused practitioner in Canada.
  • Please be kind, supportive, respectful and professional.
  • Bullying, harassment, discrimination, racism or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Communication with others outside of the group should be with mutual consent.
  • The intention of this group is not self-promotion or to generate business.
  • Nothing shared in the group constitutes clinical supervision, direct healthcare services or legal advice.
  • Refer to your college and/or association for practice-related questions.
  • Respect the confidentiality of others in the group as well as your clients.
  • Rule-breaking will result in removal from the Solution Focused Canadian Community
