What does it feel like to be friends with courage? To have courage as our champion, an inner cheerleader?

These times call for bravery, for authenticity. This is not a time to shy away from being who we are called to be or to lean away from hard decisions.

Through movement, reflection, song, ritual and workshops we will peer into what is keeping us small and allow it to flow through and out, making space for US in all our complexity and truth and, y'know, us-ness.

We will gather together at this stunning beachfront retreat to restablish our intimate kinship with the earth and to embody our interconnectedness with our fellow travellers.

Expect to be held in a safe container so you can go deep and open to the wild magic within us and all around us.

Ashram Yoga’s Ohui Retreat is located on a beautiful 20-acre beachfront property at the northern end of Opoutere Beach on the Coromandel Peninsula. Just 2-hours’ drive from Auckland, Ohui is about 15 minutes north of Whangamata.

This is a small retreat, with  very limited places in a beautiful shared retreat centre on the beach. We can accommodate all diets and can work with you to make sure this retreat suits you.

Whether you have never ever ever stretched before or are a full blown yogi, Lou will nurture and guide you through this joyful, connected movement. Lou is a Raglan based mama of 3 who started yoga 14 years ago when pregnant with her first child. She is passionate about the connection and integration of yoga into daily life and likes to explores this within her classes. Since 2016 Lou has been teaching regular classes at Solscape in a variety of styles, often with a focus on slowing down and connecting deeply with the body through conscious unity of breath and movement, pranayama and meditation. She offer’s an explorative and playful element to her classes while staying firmly anchored in a traditional experience of yoga.
