Neighbourhoods For All - Webinar #2, Safer Cities Global Peer Review - Event Registration

In order to provide urban areas that are accessible for everyone, we need new policies and practices to develop safe, vibrant neighbourhoods as well as approaches to enhance accessibility to these through co-production and inclusive processes. In line with the 2030 Agenda and the New Urban Agenda (NUA), previous ‘Neighbourhoods for All’ events have identified safety as a key determinant for people’s quality of life, particularly for young people and women, in both private and public spaces

Habitat Norway, UN-Habitat, UCLG and VibeLab are collaborating to promote the sharing of knowledge and learning between cities, civil society and other actors from around the world. The aim is to facilitate a peer review process in line with the UN Guidelines on Safer Cities. The process will identify and engage cities that already have established city safety policies and programmes to consolidate knowledge of what has worked, advance mutual learning, as well as draw on innovations to promote the integrated solutions envisioned in the 2030 Agenda and the NUA.

After a first webinar event on 30 October 2023 we invite you for our second endavour. Theme of this webinar is Ensuring Safe Cities for Women and Girls.

Webinar #2: Wednesday, 6 March 20241.00pm – 3.30pm CET
