ASSUMPTION OF RISKS - High Ropes Course & Zipline ("Sky High")
I/we am aware that climbing has inherent dangers and risks, which include but are not limited to:

i. All manner of injury and/or trauma resulting from falling from any height, for any reason, from any element or transition point on Stillwood's "Ropes Course" and/or permanent or temporary fixtures.
ii. Rope abrasion, entanglement, and other injury and/or trauma resulting from activities in, on or near the "Ropes Course"
iii. Injury and/or trauma resulting from falling climbers or falling objects dropped by other persons using the "Ropes Course",
or detaching from the "Ropes Course" and/or supporting structure such as ropes, cables, harnesses, carabiners, helmets, personal items, or any other equipment or hardware associated with the "Ropes Course".
iv. Injury and/or trauma resulting from contact with the "Ropes Course", zipline(s), and it's structure including but not limited to ropes, cables, pulleys, harnesses, carabiners, and all other equipment or hardware associated with the "Ropes Course".
v. Failure of the ropes, knots, slings, harnesses, cables, pulleys, carabiners, and all other equipment or hardware associated with the "Ropes Course".
vi. Being subjected to extreme heights of up to and higher than fifty (50) feet above the ground.
vii. All manner of injury and/or trauma resulting from being subjected to elements of nature while in, on, or near the "Ropes Course" including but not limited to: rain, high winds, snow, uneven terrain, rocks, trees, and wildlife.
viii. Negligent advice from Stillwood and their staff, volunteers, contractors, and board members.ix. Due to restrictions of the course the participant weight limit is 300lbs. If a participant does not disclose a weight above 300lbs there is a risk of equipment failure and serious injury.

And, I/we do hereby further acknowledge and agree that:

x. The "Ropes Course" I/we will be participating in requires a high degree of physical and mental fitness and may result in overexertion, dehydration, fatigue, injury and/or trauma and that it is my responsibility to make Stillwood staff aware of any and all limitations the participant has before, during, and after participation in this activity.
xi.  I/we consent to receive first aid and medical treatment by Stillwood staff in the event of an accident, injury, or illness while under the care of or visiting Stillwood.

I acknowledge and accept that Stillwood and their staff, volunteers, contractors, and board members may fail to predict whether the "Ropes Course" is safe for use or whether an accident may occur. I also acknowledge and accept that the risks include but are not limited to those above and the failure to participate safely within one’s ability or within designated areas; human error; failure to forecast or recognize a hazardous situation; or the negligence of other climbers or rescuers. I/we also acknowledge and accept NEGLIGENCE ON THE PART OF OTHER PARTICIPANTS, STILLWOOD, THEIR STAFF, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND CONTRACTORS INCLUDING THE FAILURE OF THOSE LISTED TO SAFEGUARD OR PROTECT ME FROM RISKS, DANGERS, AND HAZARDS IN, ON, AND NEAR THE "ROPES COURSE".
I AM AWARE OF THE RISKS, DANGERS, AND HAZARDS ASSOCIATED WITH THE "ROPES COURSE" AND I FREELY ACCEPT AND FULLY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, DANGERS, AND HAZARDS AND THE POSSIBILITY OF PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR LOSS RESULTING THEREFROM.
