ACEC/MW's goals are to educate, engage and advocate.  Our eight committees help us to further these goals.  We invite and encourage all employees of our member firms to get involved.  Visit acecmw.org/committees for more info.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) Committee - List name(s) and email(s)
Mission: To promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging at all levels of the ACEC/MW organization including attendees to our committees, members, leadership and within our activities. We will communicate our message and share resources to membership and clients through education, opportunities and marketing avenues.  
Facilities Committee - List name(s) and email(s)
Mission: Identify key decision makers in the public and private facilities markets and establish a conduit with key decision makers for engineering companies to exchange information in order to improve the business environment in Metropolitan Washington.
Legislative Committee - List name(s) and email(s)
Mission: Monitor, advise and educate ACEC/MW members and local, state and national legislators in Metropolitan Washington regarding issues of importance to members.
Maryland Municipal Committee - List name(s) and email(s)
Mission: Work with Montgomery and Prince George's Counties across technical business lines such as transportation, facilities, schools, and environmental/ stormwater, procurement and legislative issues that could impact the A/E industry.
Program Committee - List name(s) and email(s)
Mission: Conceptualize and plan monthly Business Opportunities Luncheons, seminars, annual meeting, breakfast roundtables and special events.  This includes a Golf Task Force for planning our Spring and Fall golf tournaments, and an Engineering Excellence Awards Task Force for planning our annual EEA Gala.
Small Business Committee - List name(s) and email(s)
Mission: Promote the business interests of small engineering companies.  Any employee of an ACEC/MW member firm may join the committee regardless of firm size.
Transportation Committee - List name(s) and email(s)
Mission: Develop relationships, make contacts, educate members, and influence the business environment for the highway, aviation, and transit markets within Metropolitan Washington.
Virginia Municipal Committee - List name(s) and email(s)
Mission: Work with Arlington, Fairfax, Prince William, and Loudoun Counties, the Cities of Fairfax, Alexandria, and Falls Church, and the Towns of Herndon and Vienna across technical business lines such as transportation, facilities, schools, and environmental/stormwater, as well as procurement and legislative issues that could impact the A/E industry.
Water Infrastructure - List name(s) and email(s)
Mission: Develop relationships, make contacts, educate members, and influence the business environment for water/wastewater, site remediation and water resources in Metropolitan Washington.
