  GREAT GIG DANCE ENSEMBLE 2025-2026 AUDITION FORM  

  • Please fill out form to participate in The Great Gig Dance Ensemble Auditions.
  • There is a $25 audition fee (Payment can be made day of auditions)

What to do:

Dancers interested in auditioning must register online by May 17th! there is $25 audition fee. Fee may be paid on audition day. Dancers should arrive 10 minutes prior to audition time (no earlier). Student should check in at the front desk to receive an audition number, which should be worn the entire audition.  Dancers should remember they are being observed from the minute they enter the studio until the moment they leave - this is a time to act with professionalism as attitude and ability to follow directions will affect placement results.

What to wear:

Dancers should come in ballet form fitting professional dance wear (leotard, tights, skirt). After ballet, dancers may put on dance shorts/leggings. MUST BE ALL BLACK. Hair must be pulled away from the face in a clean bun or low ponytail.  Dancers should bring all styles of dance shoes for the audition to be well prepared (ballet/pointe, tap, jazz)

What to expect:

All auditions are closed! No spectators will be allowed in the audition rooms.  Results will be posted online by Friday June 6th following our recitals. Placement will be sent to dancers by Sunday June 27th. Dancers must turn in their Ensemble contracts and pay their $200 deposit fee by Tuesday July 1st in order to reserve their spot in Ensemble.

Great Gig Dance Ensemble will be my first priority and commitment, and I understand that this commitment is for the entire dance season which begins in July 2025 and ends in June 2026. I understand that I may not miss more than 4 classes in any genre during the 2025-2026 season for any reason. I understand that I am required to attend all performances, parades, workshops and competitions as detailed at the start of the season
