Mass Reflection for Family Faith Formation
As Catholics, we believe that participating in the Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith lives.  Jesus told us, "I Am the Living Bread that came down from Heaven.  Whoever eats of this Bread will live forever." (John 6:51)  Because of Mass restrictions this year, many of us have experienced a longing for this Living Bread like never before.  When unable to receive the Eucharist in person, we have joined in Spiritual Communion, inviting Jesus into our hearts.  For many, this has given a new appreciation of the desire for closeness with Christ and our community of faith.

Even though these unusual times have given us restrictions on in-person liturgical celebrations, we are still charged with the commandment to keep the Lord's Day holy.  Whether in-person, online, or through television, we should still pray along with Mass and be open to how the Lord will touch our hearts.

Below is a reflection that we ask your family to complete each week, preferably by Monday morning.  We will try to include a summary of responses with your weekly family email on Wednesday afternoon.
