Climate Activist Professional Development Registration
This form indicates your interest in participating in our overnight professional development program.  Please fill out a separate form for each individual participating. Prairie Winds Nature Farm is hosting a professional development opportunity for adults regarding sustainable agriculture, permaculture, activism and climate change. We hope to empower community leaders to educate individuals in their community, seek out opportunities for partnership, and provide knowledge. As a result of completing this program, the young leaders will receive a certificate of completion.
 
When: This event will take place from September 2-4.
Where: Prairie Winds Nature Farm
Cost: The cost for the program is: $75

Check-in will be open on September 2 from 3-6 pm EST, and overnight campsites will be available on site. We recommend that all individuals do stay on site to fully engage in the experience. If you are not able to arrive during the check-in time, we can accommodate late check-ins.

If we do not have a minimum of 8 registrants by August 25, we will cancel the event. This is open to the age range of 18-30.

Please provide a brief description of your background knowledge in regards to climate change. I.e. An understanding of the difference between weather and climate, a familiarity with the IPCC Reports, General activism experience, course experience, research at a university, etc. *
Please provide a brief description of your background with camping and any supplies that you can provide for your overnight stay. We will use this information to determine if we need to provide tents, sleeping bags, etc.
