Chamblee High Cheer Tryout Form
Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Chamblee Charter High School cheerleading program! Please read over the packet attached on the link carefully, as it contains important information regarding the rules and regulations for CCHS Cheer as well as information IF you make the team.  https://chambleechartercheerleading.weebly.com/

We take pride in the cheer program at Chamblee Charter High School and expect athletes to adhere to the rules. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the coaches. Tryouts will be held in person on August 20th but all tryout information and tryout videos will be released on Monday August 17th. Cheerleading candidates will be judged by a panel made up of cheer coaches and/or outside judge(s). At no time will the scores be presented to the candidates, parents, etc. The decisions are FINAL. Videos for the tryouts will be password protected and will be sent to the parent emails provided below. Please send updated physicals and final report cards to Coach Taylor's email.

There will be a mandatory parent meeting held on Friday, August 21st at 4pm on a Zoom call for all students who make the 2020-2021 squads. At least one parent per candidate is required to attend. (It is suggested the candidate and guardian fully read the tryout packet before the meeting.)

It is an honor and privilege to become a Bulldog Cheerleader, and your role in the squad should not be taken lightly. You are expected to be a student athlete which means you should be an example in the classroom as well. As a squad, we do much more than cheer at games. We take part in community service, pep rallies, and we are also considered role models and representatives of our school. Please consider the commitment and sacrifices that will be made to be a part of this family of cheerleaders.

Please understand that with virtual learning and a global pandemic this cheer season will look different than normal. This is a learning experience for both coaches and teams. We plan to abide by all CDC guidelines in regards to COVID-19. If you have any questions please reach out to either of the coaches.
