Student Leader Criteria:

Student Leaders must be 4th or 5th grade students that can demonstrate daily a commitment to modeling and upholding Hortons Creek expectations of being responsible, respectful and being an advocate for all. This includes:

1. Honoring the commitment he/she has made by showing up for all meetings on time, school events, and classroom services;

2. Informing Mr. West and Dr. Chambers of upcoming absence(s); and

3. Recognizing that being a Student Leader is an honor and privilege that can be revoked at any time if the student is not meeting expectations. Student behavior reflects on all Hawk Leaders and students are expected to conduct themselves accordingly.

4. For duty stations, we ask that you able to serve 8:40 AM - 9:10 AM and 3:40 - 4:15PM daily)
