United Way Chennai through its “DAY OF ACTION” program will be celebrating the spirit of differently abled in the month of JUNE. The theme for this year’s program is “KNOW MY ABILITY” – An initiative for and by people with disabilities. We have conceptualized activities such that one can volunteer from anywhere. The objective of this initiative to change the perception around people with disabilities. We want to encourage people to start looking at the abilities of people with disabilities.

We will be hosting 4 type of activities as a part of this campaign -

*Inclusive PAINT-A-THON- Transform their world with your creativity
*YOUR VOICE, THEIR VISION- Record audio books
*THE SIGN WAVE- Learning Sign language
*LEARNING en-ABLED- Action based workshop on Yoga, making Eco-friendly articles, etc by differently abled children
