Music Makers: A Choral and Instrumental Composition, Conducting and Group Performance Workshop
Arts in Junior Cycle together with vocal coach Aisling Kenny, choral conductor Lynsey Callaghan, composer Elaine Agnew and orchestral conductor Sinead Hayes at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance, University
of Limerick presents Music Makers, a two-day face to face workshop where participants have the opportunity to collaboratively create and perform an original piece of music in a safe and supportive environment.

In Music Makers participants will have the opportunity to:

• Explore healthy vocal techniques
• Collaboratively create an original piece of music with a composer.
• Develop fine motor and active listening skills through conducting voices and instrumentalists
• Consider how to communicate and inspire creativity, co-operation and confidence in others
• Reflect on the skills and techniques required to create and perform music effectively.

Dates: Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th June | Time: Day 1 & 2 10.30am – 4.00pm
