The International Foundation for Y-PEER Development (IFYD) is calling for youth peer educators and youth workers from the participating countries to join an International Training Course “Care to Act” that will take place in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria between 20th to 29th June 2023.
The training will bring together group of 27 youth from partner organizations from “Ukraine, Albania, Lebanon, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Türkiye, Palestine and Bulgaria", with different social, economic, cultural backgrounds and different living situations, in order to create a space for intercultural exchange and mutual learning.
The main idea of our Training Course is to develop the capacities for the youth peer educators and youth workers from the partner countries towards participation in decision-making processes and create peer-education sessions for their own communities in order to achieve a democratic restructuring of society in the face of a variety of social and oppressive issues.
Through non-formal education focusing on theater, we include a transformative and liberative model of learning based on dialogue which is brought about through the creation of a playful environment in which youth, especially vulnerable one and youth coming from conflict zones, express themselves, analyze their reality, develop critical thinking, acquire facilitation skills, actively participate in society leaving a positive impact on their environment.

Target group: 27 youth workers and peer educators (Aged 18+) residing in Ukraine, Albania, Lebanon, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Türkiye, Palestine and Bulgaria (three participants per country).
Venue: Ivana Palace Hotel, Sunny Beach, Bulgaria
Dates: 20-29 June 2023
Expenses: Visa cost, flight tickets, local transportation from Sofia to the Venue, and accommodation are covered by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
