The High Energy Astrophysics Division encourages participation by all our members in all our activities. The HEAD Travel Grant Fund has been instituted to support scientific travel, primarily for early-career scientists. These grants can be used for travel to HEAD Divisional meetings, or other travel relating to advancing research in high-energy astrophysics. These Grants provide some financial support (typically up to $500).

Please fill out this form if you want to apply to the HEAD for a Travel Grant.

If your request is accepted by the HEAD Executive Committee, you'll be sent an e-mail notification prior to travel. You should save your receipts for reimbursement and send pdf copies to the HEAD Treasurer and HEAD Secretary after the travel is completed at the addresses listed on https://head.aas.org/leadership. Reimbursement up to the approved amount will be sent to the address given below.
