Assignment Policy
The American Burn Association requests that you hereby assign the copyright for all Projects generated by your work with official ABA Committee and Subcommittee entities, for the term of October 1, 2022 through May 31, 2024 for the full period of copyright throughout the world:
• to publish the final version of the Project and to distribute it and/or to communicate it to the public, either on its own or with other related material throughout the world, in printed, electronic or any other format or medium whether now known or hereafter devised;
• to make translations and abstracts of the Project and to distribute them to the public;
• to deposit copies of the Project in online archives maintained by ABA or by third parties authorized by ABA;
• to reproduce or copy the Project in any format;
• to revise and redistribute the Project;
• to discontinue the distribution of the Project;
• to set, collect, and keep any fees related to the sale of the Project;
• to authorize or grant licenses to third parties to do any of the above.
You authorize the American Burn Association to act on your behalf to defend the copyright in the Project if anyone should infringe it and to register the copyright of the Project in the US and other countries, if necessary.
You authorize the American Burn Association to publish your name, likeness and biographical data in connection with the work or work product.
