     The Battle of Books is a very fun event & about 150 students participate. It's a fun way to be a part of student live at Reed. I will need judges/scorekeepers, crowd control, and snack patrol.
     I will need 8 judges/scorekeepers. They will be in the rooms with the students and ask all the questions during the 3 rounds. I will pair you with a student volunteer. You would be needed from about 3:10 - 5:30 pm.
     I will need about 5 people to do crowd control at the beginning. This includes helping kids register (sign-in), handing out snacks, and helping with the book exchange. You would be needed from 3:00 - 4:00 pm.
     I will be accepting donations for snacks. The kids get chips & cookies and water after school (before the rounds) and Pizza & water after the battle. If you would like to donate boxes of chips, cookies, water bottles, or $ it would be most appreciated. You can drop them off at the main office or library at any time or bring time to the cafeteria after school on March 4, 2020
