Social Committee -- Plan super fun AGS parties and social events. All active members on this committee receive free admission to all AGS social events.
Internal Committee -- Advocate for on-campus student issues such as housing, parking, health services, mental health initiative, food security, funding, and work on the Graduate Student Life Survey.
Finance Committee -- Gain experience working with the AGS budget and reviewing applications for travel grants and special program funds.
External Committee -- Advocate for graduate students on graduate student concerns & policy issues at the state and federal level, including UC-wide initiatives. Lobby for graduate student issues at local offices and at the annual Student Lobby Conference in Sacramento.
Professional Development Committee -- Organize and host the AGS Symposium, PhD Career Conference, and the UC Women's Caucus Conference. Gain experience networking and planning large scale events for the graduate community.
