Oakhella Vendor Application
PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE APPLYING. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE ORGANIZERS VIA EMAIL OR SOCIAL MEDIA REGARDING THE STATUS OF YOUR APPLICATION. ALL VENDORS WILL BE NOTIFIED ACCORDING TO THE SCHEDULE BELOW

Local vendors are officially invited to apply for a vendor spot in the Oakhella Marketplace at the Black Coffee & Friends Block Party. The celebration will take place on April 6, 2024, from 3-10pm at the Frank Ogawa Plaza.

Throughout the day we expect thousands of attendees so we are seeking 10 curated vendors who sell goods and handmade products to add a local touch to the programming. This celebration is a one-day event created with the intention of holding space for the community to experience and dance together in the sunshine. The goal of the Oakhella Marketplace is to celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship inspired by and to support local artists & craftspeople.

We encourage you to read the application information below and apply today! Also, spread the word by forwarding this email to any local artists or craftspeople who you think may be interested.

APPLICATION PROCESS
  1. Complete the vendor application form no later than 11:59p on Wednesday, March 20th.
  2. Members of Oakhella will review your application. Vendors will be selected based on their originality, quality, and ability to meet the vendor criteria.
  3. Accepted vendors will be notified on Friday, March 22nd.
  4. Accepted vendors must submit the vendor fee payment by 11:59pm on Monday, March 25th.

VENDOR CRITERIA
Please note the following merchandise criteria for all applicants.
  • At least 50% must be original, handmade, and crafted by you.
  • You may share spaces. Each artist must apply separately even if you are sharing a space.
  • Photos of both your most recent work and work that you intend to sell at the Oakhella Marketplace are required as part of the application.
  • ALL VENDORS MUST USE WHITE-TOP TENTS, NO EXCEPTIONS

The goal is to offer store-quality products at accessible prices to our community.

REQUIREMENTS
All vendors are REQUIRED to have a valid business license, state issued ID AND seller’s permit

Food trucks/tents/carts are REQUIRED to have a valid business license, state-issued ID, seller's permit AND recent health department inspection.

VENDOR FEES:
Commercial Vendor Booth: $150
Food Cart: $200 (must be fully enclosed)   
Food Truck: $500
