Neah Bay: Telling Our Stories, Imagining Our Futures 2023-2024 Mentor Application
Riverways Education Partnerships is recruiting a diverse and engaged team of  undergraduate students to take part in a year-long mentoring project with fifth-grade students at Neah Bay

This opportunity is now an AmeriCorps position and you will receive an educational award of $1,460 upon completion of the academic year.

To participate in this project, you must be available for weekly [cr/nc] course meetings from Sept. 16, 2023 through the end of spring quarter 2024. This includes spring break (March 17-22). Are you available for that timeframe?
This is so we may visit the students for a 5 day trip to Neah Bay. As a team, your instructor will be driving you there for an expenses paid trip. Contact Nicole for more details. Course meeting time TBD

In this program we exclusively work with 5th grade

An important part of this project is the UW student team. What personal characteristics (talents, skills, knowledge, etc.) do you have that will contribute to the team aspect of the Neah Bay project? *
Digital storytelling (video/film creation) will be an important part of this project. This is not a prerequisite for being included in the project. Please describe any experience you have with video/film creation. *
