Request for Proposal for Presenters

The 2020 Simple Series team is excited to invite you to submit a proposal to present or moderate a session for our first ever Online Conference to be held February 22, 2020. The topic for the conference will be Affordable Cohousing. We welcome both experienced presenters and newcomers to submit. If you are submitting multiple topics you will need to do separate forms for each.

The deadline for proposals is December 31, 2019.

This is a new format, all online, using Zoom rooms. Each session will be 60 minutes and will be recorded. In the months following the conference, recordings will be available only to paid participants of the conference. After an initial conference period, recordings will be integrated into cohousing.org, similar to WebChat recordings.

Please feel free to submit just one form and indicate alternative topics in the notes. We cannot make suggestions at this stage other than to address the conference theme "An Affordable Conference on Affordable Cohousing". Brief Description for Program Marketing *

Try to be clear and with a concise description of what will be presented, and what the attendees will learn. Please include a description of your target audience. Try to limit to 50 words or less.

Detailed Description for Selection Process *

Provide additional concrete details on what will be covered; an outline approach with bullet points is preferable to a long narrative; details on what attendees should expect to leave with is clearly emphasized. Please limit to 100 words or less.

Compensation and other details

We would like to express our gratitude for your time and energy by offering Conference Session Presenters and Panelists a complimentary conference registration. All speakers must have a device and internet connection that allows them to use video conferencing. All content will be recorded and is the property of The Cohousing Association of the United States.
