COMPETITIONs OVERVIEW:

The Summer Series Competition gives the opportunity for players to take the court at Netball Central, Olympic Park throughout October and November.

Nominations are now open for Coaches & Team  Officials for the upcoming Court Craft Summer Series Competition.

The Summer Series will be played across 7 rounds/ 7 weeks.
• All teams will play each team in their division once.
• The Winner and Runner up in each division will be determined by first past the post.
• All matches will be centrally timed.


Northern Suburbs Netball Association propose to perhaps 3 to 4 teams within the following Divisions.

Divisions:
Opens Divisions
• 4 x Divisions of Opens teams
• 8 teams per division
• Minimum age – turning 16 years in the year of play
• Division 1 - Monday night
• Division 2 – Monday night
• Division 3 – Thursday night
• Division 4 – Thursday night

Mens:
Metro Div 1 - Monday Night
Metro Div 2 - Thursday Night

Development Divisions
• 3 x Divisions of Development teams
• 8 teams per division
• Minimum age – turning 15 years in the year of play
• Development teams play Tuesday night
• 2 x Divisions of 17U
• 1 x Division of 15U

Competitions are played at Netball Central, 2 Olympic Boulevard, Olympic Park.
Dates:
Round 1: week commencing, 11 October 2021
Round 2: week commencing, 18 October 2021
Round 3: week commencing, 25 October 2021
Round 4: week commencing, 1 November 2021
Round 5: week commencing, 8 November 2021
Round 6: week commencing, 15 November 2021
Round 7: week commencing, 22 November 2021

Player Trials:
Trials will be held at the discretion of the selection panel following the receipt of nominations. If trials are required we will notify all players that have nominated.

Training:
There are NO scheduled training sessions.

Closing Date:
Nominations together with any documentation must be received no later than 6:00pm on SUNDAY 01 AUGUST

As a minimum, nominees must:
a) Recommend to read the NSNA Coaches Handbook but not all the sections may apply, as there are no scheduled training sessions.
b) Be a current financial member of Netball NSW
c) Have NCAS Accreditation at Development level or above.
d) Agree to abide by Netball NSW Codes of Conduct
e) Be available for an Interview if required.
f)  Be available for all games involving the team assigned.
g) To coach and prepare the players in accordance with Netball Australia Player Development Pathway for Skill Development giving consideration to their age and abilities.
h) Full incorporation of the Netball Australia Knee program.
