Which volunteer role would you like? *

Pre-Event Support 1 pm - 3 pm. We are looking for someone friendly and cooperative to help with last minute volunteer tasks and lead packets.

Photographer: 4 pm - 9 pm. We're looking for someone with a great artistic eye! We will provide credit for the photographer wherever we place the images. Must have some photography experience! Ability to photograph action, low lighting and outdoors. You'll need to provide your own equipment, edit and post final photos to our shared Google drive within 7 days after the event.

Vendor Check-In: 2 pm - 5:00 pm. Volunteers will make sure the vendors are in their correct spaces and keep track of who has arrived. We're looking for someone friendly, outgoing, and cooperative!

Performance Area Coordinator: 4:30 pm - 8:30pm. Volunteers will manage performance line up & troubleshoot informal performances. We're looking for someone with great people skills!

Gate Greeter: 4:30pm - 9 pm. Volunteers will greet guests as they enter the festival and ask for donations. Looking for friendly, outgoing participants!

Volunteer Coordination: 5 pm - 9 pm. Volunteers will work the Oakland First Fridays by checking in and out our volunteers.

Videographer: 4 pm - 9 pm. We're looking for someone with a great artistic eye! We will provide credit for the videographer wherever we place the media. You'll need to provide your own equipment, edit and post final photos to our shared Google drive within 7 days after the event.

Runner: 3 pm - 5 pm or 5 pm - 9 pm. Volunteers will provide support wherever needed during the festival. We're looking for somoene friendly, cooperative, and able to work in a team!

FULL FOR NOVEMBER (DO NOT SIGN UP FOR BAR SUPPORT) - Bar Support: 4 pm - 7 pm or 7 pm - 9 pm . *Must be at least 21 years old* Volunteers will assist the KONO garden with setting up the bar. We're looking for someone friendly, upbeat, and outgoing!

Social Media Volunteer: 4 pm - 9pm. Cover the first Friday event on our Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. You’ll use your personality and social media knowledge to speak to the audience while promoting the event. You’ll capture and promote the variety of performances happening on the different stages throughout the festival. You’ll also capture the diversity of people and engage attendees in the story you create online. You will work directly with the marketing director.

Recycling and Sorting Volunteer: 5 pm- 8:30 pm. Volunteers will advise our patrons how to properly separate and place their discards into the correct receptacles.

Inventory Check-out 4 pm - 9 pm: Volunteers will monitor which vendors are checking out materials to use for the event.
