For a glowing and self-reliant teen experience, Gingko Africa is committed to achieving the empowerment of African adolescent girls to thrive in dignity, well-being, and financial independence, free from teen pregnancy, gender-based violence, and injustice. By empowering teenage mothers aged 13-20 years, Gingko Africa contributes to the personal, social, and entrepreneurial skills development of teen mothers while engaging with the community to mitigate the effects of teenage pregnancies in Kenya and beyond.

Focusing on reducing teenage pregnancies in Kenya, Gingko Africa employs innovative and preventive strategies including but not limited to; empowering proactive changemakers, designing cutting-edge resources, engaging in community outreach, and continuous evolution through research and innovation in our activities and programs. So far, Gingko Africa has transformed the lives of over 85 teen mothers and over 1750 teenagers across the country. The beneficiaries have embarked on redefining and rebuilding their lives while at least 26 teen mothers have been able to resume school to finish their education.

Membership 

 There are four types of membership categories: Teenagers, Individuals, Schools, and Organizations. Each category has a provision for members to grow with us. Although Emerald is the starting point for each category, it does not mean that a member must start from Emerald. One is free to enter from any of the stages, that is, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, and Diamond, and gradually progress to the next stages
