Who lives in the Kentish Town City Farm pond? Workshop: how to assess and improve a pond

Sunday 24th March • 2pm-5pm • Kentish Town City Farm, 1 Cressfield Close, NW5 4BN

The pond at Kentish Town City Farm is crucial to attracting a diverse range of wildlife. Find out how to investigate who is living in the pond so we can identify the creatures living there and thereby assess the health of the pond. We will document this before we add pond plants and pea gravel to improve the habitat. So you’ll also learn about pond plants: how to pot them up using aquatic compost and where to position them in the pond. To improve the bacterial balance of the pond we’ll also add pea gravel.
