All students will be issued a school computer to use both in school and/or remote learning. Please review the following documents: Navigator Project Handbook, Acceptable Use Policy, Magellan Google Apps Permission Letter, Educational Online Accounts Permission and complete this electronic form. (*If you have multiple students at Magellan there is a spot on the form for each student's name. If you only have one student, you will leave the other student names blank.)

Student Navigator Project Agreement *

I understand that the laptop and accessories assigned to me are the property of The Magellan Charter School.

I will use the laptop responsibly and follow all related policies and guidelines for appropriate digital citizenship including The Magellan Acceptable Use Policy, The Navigator Responsible Use Policy, the Laptop Care and Maintenance procedures.

I will use the laptop for educational use that supports my classroom learning, according to directions from my teacher.

I will be responsible for all damages to and/or loss of my assigned laptop.

I agree to return the laptop and accessories in good working condition.

I understand that violation of any of the policies can result in disciplinary action and restriction/ loss of use.

Parent Navigator Project Agreement *

I understand that responsibility for the Navigator Project is a shared instructional venture between the school, student user, and parents.

I acknowledge that the Navigator laptop and accessories are the property of The Magellan Charter School and are on loan to my child for the current school year.

I agree to follow all policies and guidelines for use, responsibility, and care as outlined in the Acceptable Use, Responsible Use, Care and Maintenance, and Damage and Loss policy.

I will monitor my child’s laptop use.

I agree to pay any fees assessed due to damage, loss or theft.

I understand that it is advisable to immediately file a police report in the case of loss, theft, or vandalism that might occur away from the school property.
