2023 VCTM Educator of the Year Nomination Form
Each year the Virginia Council of Teachers of Mathematics may recognize an educator on the elementary, middle, secondary, college/university and math specialist/coach level for their outstanding work in the field of mathematics education. One educator from each of the five categories will be awarded the 2023 VCTM William C. Lowry Mathematics Educator of the Year Award. Past winners and current elected VCTM Board members are not eligible for nomination.

Nominees must have a minimum of five years teaching experience and be a current classroom teacher/professor, work with students as a math resource teacher, or be a math specialist. Award recipients must be VCTM members, but membership does not need to be current at the time of nomination.

Nominations can be made by a colleague, supervisor, student/parent, or be self-nominated. After this nomination form is submitted, application instructions will be emailed directly to the nominee.

Nominations will be accepted through October 31, 2022.
