Volunteers for the 26th Annual Cigar Smoker
Thank you for your interest in volunteering at our Cigar Smoker event on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at The Fort Worth Club. We are looking for tech-savvy, guest-oriented volunteers to assist with greeting, check-in, auction support, and check-out. This is a great opportunity to give back to the FW community. Volunteers will receive lunch/dinner during their shift. **All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.**

Volunteer Role Descriptions
Event Set-Up – 9 AM-4 PM = Help load/unload & setup items at the venue - FILLED

Event Support – 4 PM-11 PM
• Greet and direct guests as they arrive, provide support as needed
• Register and check-in guests on iPad or laptop
• Assist event vendors with set up, guest interactions, and point of sales
• Manage silent auction by monitoring items and answering questions
• Check out auction item winners on iPad or laptop
• Retrieve auction items for winners
• Pack up event supplies and remaining auction items to return to the Library Foundation office
