PFSYC will be hosting a number of RST Practical Training and Assessment Sessions run by Jacob Matan from Skippers Ticket Now. The cost will be $230 for Members (including DoT Fees) and $280 for Non-Members.

Please ensure you read the Skippers Ticket Workbook and prepare for the theory assessment by completing some practice quizzes online. The links to these can be found on the PFSYC website. If you have a valid Australian Driver's Licence and are of normal health you do not need an Eyesight Test or a Medical Declaration. If you don’t have a driver's licence you will need to provide proof of identity and get an eyesight test done.

The Assessment Process:
Theory Revision (approximately 30 minutes) - to go over the workbook to pass the theory test
Theory Assessment - 40 question multiple choice test
Practical Training Session (approximately 1-1.5 hours) - to familiarise yourself with the operation of the boat and practice all the tasks to pass the practical assessment
Practical Assessment (approximately 20 minutes) - safely perform 11 tasks
