Registration for Parish Masses
PLEASE READ BEFORE COMPLETING FORM BELOW

IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED BEFORE THE LAST LOCKDOWN IN DECEMBER 2020 THEN YOUR EXSISTING NUMBER IS STILL VALID AND SHOULD USED AS BEFORE.

PLEASE NOTE THIS REGISTRATION IS NOT FOR RESERVING SEATS AT INDIVIDUAL MASSES, MONTHS MINDS OR ANNIVERSARIES. PLEASE CONTACT THE PARSIH OFFICE ON 047 81220 FOR FURTHER DETAILS.

As we return to the public celebration of Holy Mass, we must continue to adhere to current guidelines from the HSE to control the spread of the Covid-19 Coronavirus. These not only severely restrict numbers able to attend each liturgy but also put an onus on the parish to provide a safe environment for those who are present in our churches. Under current restrictions the number of people that we can accommodate at any one time in any of our churches currently is limited to 50 per Mass.

To ensure a fair, orderly and safe reopening, the numbers of people turning up at any one time at the Church for Mass requires careful regulation. We are therefore asking parishioners to register their intent to attend Mass by completing the registration form below The details will be logged into the parish database, that will be used to organise the logistics to safely control numbers in attendance.

As people already living together in a house can be seated together, a number will be assigned not to an individual but to all in the household. Once assigned, that specific number will be retained by the household whilst current restrictions are in place and used for admittance to particular Masses week on week. As restrictions lift we can adjust numbers accordingly. Each week we will publish in advance on the Monaghan parish website, the bulletin, by social media and by email, the specific numbers assigned to any particular Mass.

PLEASE NOTE FOR SAFETY AND HEALTH REASONS ONLY THOSE HOUSEHOLDS REGISTERED AND ASSIGNED A SEAT WILL BE ADMITTED TO A DESIGNATED MASS.

With the restriction in capacity realistically it could be some weeks before you would be assigned a seat, and some weeks between Masses. As current restrictions lift and allowable capacity increase then there is a better chance of a more frequent Mass in the near future. Due to this, the dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass has been extended for the time being.

In the interests of all, and to run smoothly, it will be very important that households only turn up when assigned, that everyone cooperates with the ushers, and at all times abide by the health and safety measures in place.

There is great joy in being able to have people present in our churches again for our liturgies. We ask for your patience, cooperation and understanding in the times ahead as we endeavour within the official health guidelines to provide a safe place to worship together.

May the Holy Spirit be with us all, to guide and protect us as we walk this road together

PLEASE FILL IN THE FORM BELOW AND WE WILL CONTACT YOU AGAIN WITH YOUR ASSIGNED NUMBER. PLEASE NOTE THIS MAY TAKE UP TO 10 DAYS TO PROCESS.    THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.
