In ACT Squad - Trial sign-up form
We thank you for your interest in joining the ACT Squad. The squad is open to any Senior Premier and Advanced Premier debaters who will still be in high school in 2022. It is only open to students  who will still be in high school in 2022. One selected the squad will undergo training on most weekends for the duration of terms 3 and 4. The ACT Squad is a fantastic opportunity for students to develop their debating skills and to meet students from across the Territory. The ACT Squad will also serve as preparation for students interested in trialling to represent the ACT at the National Schools Debating Championship (NSDC), which typically occurs in the last week of May every year. It is being held in Canberra in 2022.

This trial and development will be running 4-5th December. On the 4th of December there will be a development day which will have a workshop followed by a debate, then a lunch break and then another workshop and a debate. On the 5th of December we will then hold trials which will include 2 debates. If you are unavailable for the 4th of December please do still trial on the 5th. Alternatively, if you are only available on the 4th we can arrange for the debates you do that day to be your trial. If you cannot make the weekend at all please do express your interest in trialling and we will be in contact about alternative means for trialling.

This form is for students who wish to participate in the ACT Squad. Please fill out your details and we will contact you via email to continue the process, providing more details.
