The purpose of the ECFS Advisory Council is to assist in the development, planning and monitoring of Early Childhood Family Education programs within District 196. New members are always welcome. Meetings are held in person from 6:15 – 8:15 p.m. at the Dakota Valley Learning Center (childcare is provided for in person meetings) on the third Tuesday of every month during the school year.
District 196 Foundation for Early Childhood Family Services is a non-profit organization. The purpose of the Foundation is building awareness and community support of ECFS programs within District 196, by ensuring the enduring financial health of those programs and by fostering key partnerships with private and public organizations. Meetings are held quarterly.
