What is a Group Study Tour?

A Group Study Tour is a package program that combines a Korean language course with daily cultural activities, along with optional accommodation and pick-up services. The program is highly customizable based on your preferences. The most recommended package includes the Intensive Korean 15 Course, daily cultural activities and excursion, accommodation, and round-trip pick-up service.

When can the Group Study Tour be organised?

The Group Study Tour can be organised throughout the year, based on your preferences and requests.

Is it possible to include both campuses (Seoul & Busan)?

Absolutely! You have the option to switch between campuses, such as spending 2 weeks in Seoul and another 2 weeks in Busan. This allows you to explore the two vibrant cities in Korea while continuously advancing your Korean language skills.

If your group intends to experience both cities, kindly specify your preferences in this quotation request form. Additionally, if you require pick-up services for campus transfers, please indicate whether you would like the group bus option from/to Seoul and Busan or if you plan to arrange your own transportation(train/KTX). In the latter case, you could also request the pick-up services to/from accommodations and train stations.

What is the difference between a Closed Class and an Open Class?

Closed classes are organised exclusively for students enrolled in the group study, whereas open classes allow students to join our regular classes. It's important to note that a minimum of 10 students is required to conduct a closed class, and they must be at the same Korean proficiency level. If you have a smaller number of students, but wish to organise a Closed class, please contact us.

Is it mandatory for the course to commence on Monday? Can it start on a different day?

We recommend weekend arrival and commencement on Monday as our classes are commencing each Monday. However, we can accommodate alternative schedules based on your preferences. If you have a different start day, the closed class format is available for consideration as well.

We have specific activities in mind. Is this possible?

Certainly! We always strive to accommodate your preferences. When filling out the quotation request form, you can include your specific activity requests in the 'special requirements' category located at the end of the form. We will review your requests and incorporate them into your quote if feasible.

Do you offer weekend activities?

Absolutely! Weekend activities can be organised upon request. These activities usually span the entire day. For all-day-long activities, we make sure to arrange lunchtime at a suitable location or nearby restaurant for the group's convenience. However, kindly note that the fee for meals during activity is not included in the quotation.

Will there be a Lexis teacher in activities?

Yes, our teacher (and/or staff) will always accompany students to guide them during school activities. Kindly note that other than the school activities and classes, it is the group leader’s responsibility to lead students.

Could we have an additional group leader?

Yes. Absolutely! The fee for an additional group leader will be displayed in your quotation based on the "No. of group leader" category you complete.

Can we have the accommodation for all our students in the same building?

Yes, but only under the condition that the serviced apartment option is selected. As long as reservations are confirmed promptly, we will be able to allocate your students to our affiliated Serviced Apartment, which is conveniently situated near the Lexis Campus within walking distance. Opting for the twin room option not only reduces accommodation costs but also streamlines coordination for the group leader.

What is the difference between the homestay types: Half-board and B&B ?

Homestay Half-board includes breakfast and dinner on weekdays and three meals on weekends. Homestay B&B includes only breakfast.

When is the payment deadline?

To ensure a smooth preparation for the Group Study, the payment must be fully completed at least 4 weeks prior to the check-in date. Additionally, students' enrolments need to be finalised 6 weeks prior to the check-in date. For instance, if your group plans to check in on January 1st, 2024, the payment should be finalised by December 4th, 2023, and enrolments should be confirmed by November 20th, 2023. It's important to note that during peak season, i.e. summer - June to August, the deadline is adjusted earlier to ensure availability.
