What is the purpose of the meeting?

The purpose of this meeting is to share more information about JELCC with our stakeholders as well as fulfill new federal Perkins legislation that requires every CTE District around the country to conduct a Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA) discussion every other year. The legislation requires representatives from various groups be invited to engage in the review of CTE program and student performance data.

Topics will include (but not limited to):

• J. Everett Light Career Center Information & Data
• Graduation Pathways 101
• Dual Credit & Certifications
• Governor's Work Ethic Certificate
• Future Trends, including JELCC Vision 2025
• Perkins V & Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment (CLNA)

*JELCC will reimburse your school for the cost of the sub.
*You will receive a Professional Development certificate by request. Hours can be applied towards the 15-hour externship requirement (HB 1002).
