Spend winter quarter in Silicon Valley, one of the world's most significant hubs for technology and startups. Take four entrepreneurship classes, network with Northwestern alumni, visit early-stage and established companies, and escape Illinois during the coldest months of the year.
To apply for a spot in the Winter 2025 cohort, submit this application by Sunday, May 12 at 11:59 p.m. CT.
Criteria for eligibility:
Complete the course ENTREP 225: Principles of Entrepreneurship before Winter 2025
If accepted, take ENTREP 380: Bay Area Seminar in Fall 2024*
*We may waive the Fall seminar requirement on a case by case basis; email Farley@northwestern.edu for a waiver and provide a compelling reason for your request (e.g. studying abroad in the fall)
If you have questions about financial costs, scheduling concerns, or
aren’t sure whether the program will help you meet graduation requirements, please
contact farley@northwestern.edu and we will work with you to assess options.
*If you have not yet taken ENTREP 225 and are unable to take both that and the required BAQ pre-seminar, please contact farley@northwestern.edu.
**Note: All regular NU tuition charges, fees, and financial aid options will apply for this program, just as they would for coursework taken here in Evanston. The Farley Center will provide all admitted students with a stipend to offset the higher housing costs in San Francisco, and $50 public transportation stipend. Admitted students will be responsible for covering other costs of living, including travel to and from San Francisco, additional transportation while in the Bay Area, housing, meals, and other incidental costs. In submitting this form, you are acknowledging your responsibility for covering those costs, should you be admitted to the program.
