Writing a Prospectus in the Humanities
In this workshop, you will learn the basic structure of a humanities dissertation prospectus. We will emphasize the steps of the drafting process, the genre conventions of the prospectus and how to gather a committee. This event is geared specifically towards students in the Humanities, but some of the information may be applicable to social scientists and professional students as well. This event also features a panel of PhD candidates who have successfully written and defended prospectuses at Yale.
