This is an EMERGENCY FUND for individuals living throughout Nova Scotia. Specifically, the intent of this fund is to support individuals, who as a result of Covid-19 pandemic, will be impacted with unexpected costs and funds for basic necessities (rent, utilities, groceries etc.); loss of income for artists, freelancers, and gig economy workers; seniors & the elderly, persons with disabilities and those already facing daily challenges of capatalism and precarious housing.

Please only apply if you DO NOT have access to financial alternatives such as savings, investments or other sources of income to rely on during this time. Funding will be prioritized based on availability and immediacy of need.

Based on the application, we will be providing a ONE-TIME grant of 100$ as there are limited funds available. Funds will be distributed through e-transfer. To preserve each other's privacy and dignity, we will never publish the names or personal details of the recipients.
