Mitos is a new music project by Quinteto Latino.  Fuse is an artistic partner developing a performance to accompany this new music composition.  We will be working with youth and families creating art from the stories and myths used by the composer as inspiration as well as the music itself.  The Introductory Workshops are live in-person gatherings on Zoom.  We will be introducing the myths, the art and making theatre online together.  After participants complete the introductory workshops - they will have access to several art modules to be completed independently or during our Open Studio time.  All participants are invited to the MITOS Celebration to a showcase our work on February 27th!  All of this work will inspire a culminating music video.  (Sometime next year we hope to have a live performance and all participants will be guests of honor! )

Mitosis un nuevo proyecto musical de Quinteto Latino. Fuse es un socio artístico que desarrolla una performance para acompañar esta nueva composición musical. Trabajaremos con jóvenes y familias creando arte a partir de las historias y mitos utilizados por el compositor como inspiración, así como la música en sí. Los talleres introductorios son reuniones en vivo en persona en Zoom. Vamos a introducir los mitos, el arte y hacer el teatro en línea juntos. Después de que los participantes completen los talleres introductorios, tendrán acceso a varios módulos de arte que se completarán de forma independiente. Luego invitaremos a todos los participantes a una noche de exhibición para compartir y crear. Todo este trabajo inspirará a nuestros artistas Mitos mientras colaboramos con los músicos de Quinteto Latino en la presentación. En algún momento del próximo año esperamos tener la actuación y todos los participantes serán invitados de honor!
