The Early Childhood & Elementary Music Departments (ECH/ELEM) at Community Music Center of Boston (CMCB) are working to provides access to online learning through online group lessons and curated resources from our faculty. This opportunity will allow for some continued learning and musical experiences while our 34 Warren Avenue campus remains closed.
The Community Music Center of Boston will not record the lessons, take screenshots or provide access for third parties. Content will not be shared or released on the internet.
It is recommended that classes occur at their normal times, but flexibility is encouraged based on your new schedules and what aligns with the teacher. We request that all classes operate within the hours of typical CMCB teaching:
Monday: 9am-7pm
Tuesday: 9am-9pm
Wednesday: 9am-9pm
Thursday: 9am-9pm
Friday: 9am-7pm
Saturday: 9am-5pm
An adult is required to be present during lessons with students 7 and younger. Although an adult does not to be on the video call the entire time, it is highly recommended that you assist your student with the technology throughout the lesson. Adults must acknowledge each video call by appearing on screen at the beginning of the lesson, and providing additional written consent by completing this form below.
Please note: All lessons and classes that take place with consent received will be billed accordingly at their normal rate. Any financial aid that was determined/applied to accounts continues to stay in place during this period.
