Don't miss this opportunity to jump into the creative process (and share a free meal) with two of the most inspiring artists on the planet: Ana Maria Alvarez, choreographer and artistic director of
CONTRA-TIEMPO, and Afro Latin jazz composer and pianist
Arturo O’Farrill. We've invited these artists to create a work together for
NC State LIVE's 50th anniversary and they are eager to share their process with you.
Ana Maria and Arturo will be in Raleigh with us from September 7 to 14 and then they'll be back in March 2023 to premiere the new work. You’re invited to a FREE Choreographic Lab on September 11, 2022 to see the work spring to life, lend your voice to the creative process, and share a meal with these two prolific artists. There will even be an opportunity to dance together in the spirit of building community - and having fun. All are welcome! No dance experience needed.
