Dear Parents,
Even though the first day of school seems far away we have already begun our planning for the next school year. Your specific feedback related to learning style and the social/emotional needs of your child is important to us.  With that being said, placement decisions are ours to make.  Due to the shifting nature of our enrollment numbers and the number of positions allotted to us at each grade level, I am not at liberty to share the names of teachers at each grade level for next year at this time.    

The Round Hill procedure is a careful process utilizing information from a variety of sources, which include homeroom teacher, specialists, and the administration. We consider issues related to peers both in the school and in the neighborhood, learning styles and needs, prior experiences with teachers and classmates, and other relevant factors.  As you can image there are a lot of elements for us to consider.

 If you would like to complete this OPTIONAL questionnaire, the information you provide will be considered as classes for next school year are formed.  I would prefer that you do not request a specific teacher for your child or request that a specific teacher be excluded in placement considerations but if you do,  please understand that there are no guarantees that your specific request will be honored.  We appreciate your input but final decisions on placement are ours to make.  Decisions that we take very seriously.  Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your input.  Our goal is always to set your child up for success!
