Welcome and thank you for your interest in our questionnaire!

This questionnaire is conducted as part of the EU H2020 MARCONI research project (https://www.projectmarconi.eu/) and is organized by Hasselt University (https://www.uhasselt.be/edm), with support from Flemish public broadcaster VRT (https://www.vrt.be/) and Dutch public broadcaster NPO (https://over.npo.nl/).

The questionnaire aims to identify opportunities to improve broadcast radio, both functionally and in terms of the listening experience that it affords. Your input will help to better align broadcast radio with the needs and desires of listeners and, as such, will empower broadcast radio to stay relevant in the future and to improve its service delivery to listeners.

Completing the questionnaire is expected to consume approximately 20 minutes; you will be able to track your progress in the questionnaire at all times. The questionnaire itself comprises a number of dedicated screens, which will be presented sequentially in your current Web browser window. In case you are visiting this questionnaire using a device with a small screen like a smartphone, it is recommended to hold your device in landscape mode so that all response options are visible without the need for horizontal scrolling.

Participating in this questionnaire does not entail any risks. Also, you are free to stop your participation at any point while filling out the questionnaire. Your input will only be collected and stored in case you completed the full questionnaire.

The questionnaire is open to all age ranges, including minors (i.e., people younger than 18 years old).

There is a lottery associated with this questionnaire (20 gift vouchers worth 20 euro each), for which you can optionally enroll. In case you want to participate in this lottery, you will need to provide a valid email address so that we have a means to contact the winners; you will be able to specify this email address after completing the questionnaire. In case you decide to do so, your email address will NOT be linked to your responses and will NOT be used for purposes other than reaching out to the winners of the lottery. As such, your participation will always be pseudonymous, whether you decide to join the lottery or not.
